Trip upstate to Catskill

So we always drift around A LOT but…… not this morning! We getting up and into town early to catch our train yo! Thats it! organised factor is off the charts yeww. We are going to make the most of the afternoon upstate and at our cool little air B’n’B place. We were in town by 10am booked our train tickets and Boom its all booked out Whaaaat! So yeah our next train is leaving at 3pm ha ha well at leased we tried. To kill some time we went and checked out the Whitney Museum at the Meatpacking district Which looks like a fun place to eat and drink “FYI” The Whitney was cool and I loved the roof top lookout it gets my brain on overdrive thinking of all these buildings I would love to paint.

3pm at the hectic Amtrak train station we FINALLY got the train to Hudson and the whole way was so picturesque as the Hudson river followed our side. It blew my mind to see on the rocky cliffs all this grand castle type architecture and of course the bridges looked typically postcard worthy against the afternoon sky so I got ma snaps in on that one fa sure! There were little establishments and forrest which we also passed and the sun was at perfect level to glitter through the trees as we were speeding by so that was our cue for a positive note about our later train.

When we arrived in Hudson I kinda didn’t know how to expect a little country town in upstate NY but this place was pretty rad! It looks a little like movie set. So many cool restaurants and antique home wears! Apparently its the place to be if you want to deck out your pad. Even the wine shop is full professional and quaint looking, we got recommended some good reds and places to go.

Our place in Catskill is sooo cuteeeee! I love it!! pity its dark ha ha but its got wooden floors, modern interior cool fashion and art books and fresh home made bread in the kitchen yea yeah!! And yes right on the water. Although late really glad we made it to this cool little destination. Ill give you a tour with some photos otherwise I could harp on for ages with details.

But I will end on this note! The recommended places to eat at were sooo goood, Hudson and Catskill are both definitely a great lil vacay away.
